Sai-Kayi preaches tolerance as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr
An All Progressive Congress’ Ilorin West Chairmanship aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government elections, Prince Suleiman Abubakr – Sai Kayi has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting and urging them to imbibe spirit of Godliness, tolerance, perseverance and sacrifice.
Sai Kayi admonished the need for continued dedication of the believer to the will of Allah, and to desist from all sorts of misbehavior, political bickering and rebuttals.
The statement reads, “I used this medium to celebrate our Muslim brethren and sisters on occasion of Eid-l-Fitr festival, we pray that Allah accept our fasting and supplications as an act of Ibadah.
“As we celebrate Eid-il- Fitr, we pray that Almighty Allah forgive our sins and disobedience, guide us on the right path and answer all our prayers. May we be bestowed with the blessings of the sacred month of Ramadan. May Allah grant us wisdom and kindness.”
