Sa’adatu Modibbo Tours State Owned Higher Institutions

-Engages Students, Checks Facilities

In an attempt to restructure kwara state owned tertiary institutions, the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, swiftly after her inauguration on Friday, 13th December 2019, stormed ministry where she was received in audience by the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Musa Dasuki, the Directors and staff of the ministry.


The newly sworn in commissioner had in the wee hours of Sunday, 14th December, unofficially visited Kwara State College of Education, Oro, and the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa located in Kwara South Senatorial district of the state.

At the various institutions, Mrs Modibbo Kawu consulted some students of the institutions where she carried out assessment of the hostels, the sports arena.

In Kwara central, she has visited the Kwara State College of Education Ilorin; Kwara State University, Malete; the Institute of Technology and the Kwara State Polytechnic, both in Ilorin. She engaged with the students, visited the libraries, lecture halls and other facilities.

Kwara North was not left behind as she also checked the facilities of the Kwara State College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi.

Her tour visits and engagement with students of these institutions are tandem with the resolve of the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to revamp the various institutions and provide qualitative, accessible and affordable education for all.
