Ronaldo returns back to Manchester United training

Cristiano Ronaldo has made a return back to the main team of Manchester United after serving the punishment arising from his refusal to come on as a substitute against Tottenham.

The 37-year old joined the team back on Tuesday for a training session at Carrington ahead of their UEFA Europa league game against Sheriff Tiraspol at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Ronaldo was dropped from the squad to face Chelsea at the weekend in a match that eventually ended 1-1.

Also captain Harry Maguire, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have also all returned to the squad.

While Erik Ten Hag has repeatedly hinted that Ronaldo remains part of his plan, the five time Baloon D’or winner seems to be increasingly becoming unstable due to always being having to come in to the game from the bench.
