Real Madrid defeats Man City, to face Liverpool in Champions League final

The Spanish club, Real Madrid produced a fantastic comeback to defeat the English team, Manchester City and reached the Champions League final, on Wednesday.

Riyad Mahrez’s goal at the 73rd minute had initially put the English team, City at advantage of 5-3 on aggregate.

But, Rodrygo scored two goals in final two minutes to enable a tie to extra-time.

Karim Benzema however scored a penalty winner to extinguish Manchester City’s chances of reaching their second consecutive Champions League final and winning their first title.

Benzema’s extra-time penalty winner earned the Spanish club a 6-5 aggregate win over City.
