Ramadan: Emir of Ilorin commends Saleeman Adedoyin’s commitment to the needy

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, HRH Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has commended Global IT leader and Founder/Chairman of SAS Foundation, Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman, for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes, particularly in supporting the less privileged.

The Emir praised Adedoyin’s philanthropic efforts and prayed for his continued success, acknowledging his role in uplifting the needy. He made the remarks during a special reception for the SAS Foundation delegation, led by its Head of Operations, in recognition of their Ramadan Relief Outreach, which has benefited over 1,000 families across the Ilorin Emirate.

Expressing his appreciation, the Emir emphasized the importance of sustained charity and community-driven philanthropy.

“I pray to Allah for enduring peace and prosperity among my people. Seeing young people like those in SAS Foundation embody the spirit of giving back is truly fulfilling. We have heard of your numerous philanthropic gestures, and I urge you to remain consistent in your efforts. Our prayers are with you,” the Emir said.

Although Saleeman Adedoyin was absent due to overseas commitments, the Emir acknowledged his dedication to humanitarian service and offered prayers for his continued impact on society.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation, Hassan Kabir, Head of Programmes and Operations, reaffirmed their commitment to easing hardships during Ramadan. He sought the royal blessings of the Emir for the foundation’s continued success.

As part of activities marking Saleeman Adedoyin’s 34th birthday, SAS Foundation extended its outreach beyond families to include correctional centers and orphanages in Ilorin.

Mallam Muslim Saleeman, Director General of SAS Foundation, emphasized the foundation’s dedication to grassroots development, stressing the importance of philanthropy in strengthening communities.

The foundation’s Ramadan initiative received praise from Alhaji Abdulfatai Owonwami, Chairman of Araromi Community, who highlighted the significant impact of their support during the fasting period.

At the Ilorin Correctional Service facility, the welfare officer, Mr. AbdulGafar Abdullateef, emphasized the need for sustained support for inmates, while the head of the Kwara State Children Reception Centre, Mrs. Elizabeth Jegede, commended SAS Foundation for its care for vulnerable children.

SAS Foundation remains committed to its mission of bringing relief, hope, and empowerment to communities in need. Through its philanthropic initiatives, the foundation continues to make a meaningful impact, driven by the principles of compassion, service, and social responsibility.
