R.O Balogun lauds NCS officer, Oloyede over developmental project
The President of the Igosun Progressive Union (IPU), Chief Rafiu Oyeyemi Balogun has lauded the efforts of a Deputy Superintendent of Corrections, Alhaji Rasaq Oloyede, for facilitating a non-custodian centre to Igosun community in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Balogun, speaking during the official commissioning of the project, said it will reduce crime rate in the Local Council.
Balogun commended Oloyede’s efforts, describing his love for the community as exceptional.
He said, “I must acknowledge the commendable efforts of our own Alhaji Rasaq Oloyede, (Deputy Superintendent of Corrections) you have demonstrated your love for your community, we appreciate you greatly.”
Balogun prayed that Oloyede shall continue to prosper and God Almighty will elevate him.
For their part, the Oba in council, headed by the Eesa of Igosun, Chief Afolabi Olatoke said Oloyede is a respectable, respectful, and humble person who could sacrifice anything for the betterment of his community.
“Oloyede is a lover of his father’s land and he’s so humble, I’ve known him since he was young as a peace lover, this attribute was demonstrated in how he brought every member of the community on board in the establishment of this laudable project.
“Oloyede came from a very reputable home in Igosun. He’s such a person who could sacrifice anything to ensure Igosun becomes a cynosure in the Oyun local government area.
“If Oloyede could be in a higher place, he will do more than this to attract good fortune to his motherland or to any member of the ancient town. If we could have more of his type in Nigeria, many communities wouldn’t have been languishing and many graduates who could not get jobs would have been helped.
“God will promote him more than this,” Eesa prayed.
