Qatar 2022: Argentina set up quarter final clash against Netherlands
Argentina and Netherlands will be facing off in the first quarter-final game of the ongoing World Cup.
While Netherlands got the best of the game against USA earlier in the day with their 3-1 victory, Argentina also showed class as they went on to defeat Australia 2-1 in the round of 16 game.
Argentina have progressed from five of their last six round of 16 matches at the World Cup with the only exception during this run coming in 2018 against France.
Both teams will be playing for history, pride and glory when the last eight clash hold next week.
Argentina defeated the Dutch to win their first ever in 1978 and will also be looking forward to another historic moment when they clash on Friday at Lusail Stadium.
