The highly anticipated ElevateHer Workshop 1.0, organized by the Eagles Foundation for Humanity in partnership with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Kwara Axis, will feature an impressive lineup of facilitators from various sectors. Scheduled from October 24 to 26, 2024, the workshop aims to empower female student leaders with key leadership skills. Participants, drawn from tertiary institutions across Kwara State, will engage in virtual sessions on the first two days, followed by a physical session on the final day.
Speaking about the carefully curated topics and facilitators, Ibrahim T. Abiola, the project lead, emphasized the importance of selecting leaders with diverse expertise to ensure the participants leave with a holistic view of leadership. “Each facilitator has been carefully chosen not only for their expertise but also for their ability to inspire and challenge the participants. While on day two, the sessions will focus on leadership and community engagement. Titilope Anifowoshe-Salami, Executive Director of Eagles Foundation for Humanity, will deliver a lecture on Volunteering and Personal Development, highlighting how volunteerism can contribute to personal and leadership growth. Abiola described this as a key element for participants looking to extend their impact beyond traditional leadership roles.
