President Buhari appoints new MD of NSIA

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Aminu Umar-Sadiq as the Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) and the Managing Director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, NSIA.

The Nigerian president has also approved the appointment of Bisi Makoju and Kolawole Owodunni as Executive Directors of the Authority.

Yunusa Abdullahi, the Special Adviser, Media and Communications to the Finance Minister, made this revelation in a statement made available on Monday.

The Informant247 gathered that Umar-Sadiq was an ex Executive Director and Head of Infrastructure at the authority before his appointment.

His appointment came following the lapse of Uche Orji’s two-term appointment of five years each from October 2, 2012, to September 30.

He has got a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences from the University of Oxford (Saint John’s College), Oxford, United Kingdom (UK).
