No fewer than five warehouses at Dawanau in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State stocked with essential food commodities suspected to have been hoarded on Sunday, raided and sealed by the state Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC).
However, warehouses stocked with soybeans, sesame, wheat bran and Okro seeds were spared.
Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, the commission’s Chairman, led the operation, which caught owners of the warehouses unawares.
