Peter Obi, running mate, Baba-Ahmed meet Babangida in Minna
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, and his vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed on Sunday had meeting with General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB), a former military head of state, in Niger State.
The former Governor of Anambra State, made this revelation in posts via his social media handles.
He said the former Nigerian leader welcomed them warmly at his residence in Minna.
He stressed that they had conversations that were full of insight on the current state of the country.
He wrote, “Today, my running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, and I visited President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, GCFR, at his home in Minna.
“He received us very warmly and we had insightful conversations on the state of affairs in our country.”
