Personal best: Messi scores fastest career goal in win over Australia

Lionel Messi on Thursday at a raucous Workers’ Stadium did hit another highpoint of his career when he scored the fastest of his career.

The seven time Ballon D’or scored after 79 seconds as Argentina beat Australia 2-0 in a friendly played in Beijing.

Messi confirmed he wanted to move to American side Inter Miami after the expiration of his contract with PSG.

For records, he has now scored seven straight games for Argentina even as he continues to doubt his participation in the next world cup.
