PDP KWARA – AKOGUN HOUSE CRUMBLES AS PDP NEC APPROVES FAGBEMI AS AUTHENTIC CHAIRMAN
In what may be described as a dramatic turn of event at Eagle square ,Abuja as the highly self-glorifying factional chairman of PDP in Kwara State Chief Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo and his team had been declared personal non grata by the APEX decision organ of PDP yesterday in Abuja.
Source who spoke to me from Eagle square Abuja not long ago confirmed that Akogun almost collapse if not for the help of security operative who rushed to save the already disestablished chairman
This came to put a lasting ends to perennial PDP crisis lingering between the AKOGUN and FAGBEMI led factions of PDP in the state.
Prior to this judgement .The Akogun faction had been taking undue advantage of the national crisis in PDP to elongate their already expired tenure with flagrance disregard to the result of the last state congress which produced FAGBEMI team as the authentic state chairman of PDP.
Recall that the Fagbemi led faction had forcefully stormed PDP state secretariat last year and put the whole complex under lock to prevent it rival from accessing the party facilities.
Owing to this arrangement , Akogun and his team are now erstwhile PDP agent in Kwara and anyone dealing with them does so at his or her own risk
