The Presidential candidate of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said that leaders of his party, PDP are not involved in “a war of attrition”.
Atiku made this revelation as a reaction to the recent outburst of the Governor of Rivers state and members of Governor Wike’s camp.
The Informant247 observes that Wike and members of his camp has continued to demand for the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu.
While speaking on Friday during the 35 years anniversary celebration of Akwa Ibom State, the former vice president, represented at the occasion by the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal revealed that the current crisis within the party is a mere political disagreement and will soon come to an end.
He said ”we are not involved or engaged in a war of attrition.
“It is a political disagreement and very soon all of that would be resolved and the PDP will continue to remain strong and grow until we win the election by the Grace of God come February 2023”.
