Oyabambi felicitates with Nigerians on Independence day
A Kwara State All Progressive Congress’ Chieftain, Otunba Adetunji Oyabambi, on Friday, felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the Independence day.
In a statement released to the press, Oyabambi urged Nigerians to be calm and patient, saying that very soon the country will overcome the economic hardship currently experiencing.
The United Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election said, “I felicitate with the good people of Nigeria on this occasion of Independence day. As the country marks 61 years of independence, I urge every Nigerians to be calm and patient. With hope and prayer, we hope things will change for better. And everyone will soon overcome the current hardship facing the country and its people.”
The philanthropist, however, advised Nigerians to be security conscious and be ambassadors of peace and unity in their respective regions.
“It is incumbent on us all to safeguard our country and ensure unity prevails. Irrespective of our religion affiliations, tribe and ethnicity, we should always see ourselves as brothers and sisters. We should shun any act of violence that may breach the peace of the country. I am very sure with oneness, we can achieve greatness”, he expressed.
