Òwúyẹ Newspaper Publication set to be unveiled, launched, October 16

The much anticipated indigenous Yoruba newspaper publication is programmed to be disclosed, Sunday 16th of October 2022.

The launching of the newspaper organization will take place at NUJ press Center, Offa Road Ilorin, Kwara.

Dele Obaseesin, who’s a broadcast journalist and the publisher of Latest City News and Gùdùgbe Ìròyìn, in a statement released on Tuesday, at the official declaration of the occasion, revealed that the event would be another opportunity to grow the standard of our traditional value and culture.

He explained that the newspaper organization will interpret the heritage of the Yoruba people and their culture.

Dele Obaseesin in the statement affirmed the richness of Yoruba culture and explained the need for the continued existence and preservation of the culture of the Yoruba for the benefits of the coming generations.

He said the coming generations need to understand the beautiful nature of the Yoruba culture.

He further said that the unveiling will accommodate Talk and seminar, presentation of awards to some selected eminent persons who have contributed immensely to the development of the society over the years.

The Informant247 gathered that the brand new newspaper organization, Òwúyẹ (ìwé Ìròyìn tíó nfi ìdí ìṣẹ́lẹ́ múlẹ̀) will be unveiled on October 16th, 2022.
