Otunba Oyabambi congratulates PDP Oyun LG executives, commends peaceful congress
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Adetunji Oyabambi, has congratulated the newly elected executives of the party in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Oyabambi, in a statement issued on Saturday, described their emergence as a reflection of unity, commitment, and the collective will of party members in the local government.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the congress, saying it demonstrates the party’s readiness to entrench internal democracy and strengthen its grassroots structure ahead of future elections.
The United States–based politician charged the new executives to justify the confidence reposed in them by working in harmony and prioritizing the interest of the people over personal ambitions.
“I urge you to carry every member along, build on the existing unity, and remain steadfast in your service to the people. The future of our party rests on the commitment and dedication of leaders like you,” he said.
Oyabambi also extended his felicitations to executives elected in other local government areas of the state, urging them to work collectively to reposition the party and consolidate on its gains.
He stressed the need for inclusiveness, teamwork, and strategic mobilization, assuring that with dedication, the PDP can reclaim its pride of place in Kwara politics.
