Osun gov, Oyetola swears in newly elected LG chairmen, councillors
Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola on Monday swore in the newly elected Chairmen and Councillors of local government areas in the State.
The new executives of the local government were elected in an election which was organised by Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC).
The Informant247 observes that only the ruling political party in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) took part in the election of Saturday, October 15.
The swearing in session took place at at Bola Ige house at the State Secretariat, Osogbo.
Shortly after getting sworn in, the Governor implored the executive officers of the local government to learn from the transparent and accountable nature of his government.
The Governor informed them to ensure fairness, justice and reasonability among the people in all their dealings so that the people can continue to benefit from the APC in the State.
