Osun gov, Adeleke suspends OSIEC Chairman, 6 other members
The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has suspended the Chairman of the Osun State Electoral Commission, OSIEC, Segun Oladitan and 6 other members over allegations of financial impropriety.
This development was made public by the Secretary to the State Government, Tesleem Igbalaye though a statement released on Monday.
The Governor has suspended the Chairman of the state electoral body and six other members.
The names of the 6 other members of the state electoral team were given as:
1. Mr. Yusuf Oyeniran
2. Alhaja Suibat Adubi
3. Prince Yinka Ajiboye
4. Mrs. Abosede Omibeku
5. Mr. Dosu Gidigbi
6. Mr. Wahab Adewoyin
According to the statement: “This suspension is sequel to several petitions bothering on financial impropriety, dereliction of duty, absenteeism and abuse of office against the said Chairman and members of the commission.
“Pending the outcome of investigation into the allegations against the suspended Chairman and members of the Commission, the Secretary to the Commission shall hold forth in running the affairs of the Commission.
