Oshimen, Ajibade make final shortlist for the 2025 CAF awards [FULL LIST]

Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has been shortlisted amongst the three finalists for the CAF Player of the Year award.

Oshimen, who was crowned the winner in 2023 will be battling it out with Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool) and Achraf Hakimi (Morocco/Paris Saint-Germain) for Africa’s most-coveted individual prize.

The list released on Sunday night by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) saw Oshimen being named amongst the others for the award last won by Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman.

Meanwhile, in the women’s version, Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade was also part of the shortlist for the prize, and will be contending with Morocco’s duo of Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy.
