Ondo: Ex-NASS clerk Adelami sworn in as deputy gov

Dr Olaide Adelami, the former Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, on Thursday sworn in as the Ondo State Deputy Governor.

The Informant247 reports that Olayide Owolabi Adelami, an ex-deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, was last Tuesday nominated as the new Deputy Governor of Ondo State.

Adelami’s nomination is coming shortly after Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa announced the dissolution of members of the State Executive Council in the cabinet who worked under the late governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

However, at a ceremony held at the International Culture and Event Centre, Akure, on Thursday, the new deputy governor was sworn in by Justice Olusegun Odusola, the state’s Chief Judge.
