OBASI SETS TO TRANSIT SOON
The President, National Association of Nigerian Students, Comrade Chinoso Obasi Aka Aluta IBB, has express willingness to conduct election to usher in new set of executive very soon.
While addressing delegates at the NANS Senate sitting held today, 8th of September, 2017, at the College of Education, Ilorin. He showed concern about the numerous problems facing the Nigerian students and Educational sector in general. He noted that he cannot go ahead with taking actions without firstly notifying the Student Union Presidents that constitutes the NANS’s Senate.
“It is not that I can’t take action, but I am not the type of person that do things without firstly notifying the neçcessary quarters. This is why the sitting is called for every delegates to have their says on the current state of the nation Educational sector, ASSU strike in particular” He said.
However, the Senate approves the nomination of Comrade Oyeniyi Abdulmumen Aka Aluta J. as the new Assistant General Secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Students.
