NYSC announces date for 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation course

The National Youth Service Corps, on Thursday, announced the date for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course.

In a circular dated August 7, 2023, and titled “2024 Batch “B” Orientation Course”, signed by the Director, PRS, Ahmed Ikaka, for the Director General of the corps, noted that the orientation exercise will take place across all 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the circular, the orientation course is set to commence on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, with registration slated to run from August 28 to August 30.

The deadline for registration is set at midnight on Friday, August 30, 2024.

The swearing-in ceremony, a significant event marking the official start of the service year for the new corps members, is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.

The course will then proceed through various activities to prepare the corps members for their service year, culminating in a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
