NSC donates medical equipment to Kwara hospital
The Nigerian Shippers’ Council, on Wednesday, donated medical equipment worth millions of naira to the Kwara State General Hospital in Ilorin.
The South-West Regional Director of the Council, Mr Glory Onojedo, disclosed that the Shippers’ Council was determined to assist the less-privileged people in the society, pointing out that the donation was part of the corporate social responsibility of the Council.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Raji Abdulrazaq, while receiving the equipment, commended the Council for its generous donations to the less-privileged people in the State.
On his part, the Chief Medical Director of Hospital, Dr. Abdulkadri Ahmed, promised that the items would be put into effective use to support the facility patients.
