NRC suspends train services over Abuja-Kaduna attack on rail by bandits

The Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, has suspended its services due to unforeseen circumstances.

Following the attack on Abuja-Kaduna rail on Monday evening, NRC made the announcement in a terse statement on its Twitter page.

that bandits blew up train rails and attacked the 6 pm train heading to Kaduna from Abuja.

According to reports, many are feared kidnapped, while others sustained injury during the attack.

The NRC in a tweet wrote on Tuesday, “Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended.

“Further communication would be given in due course.”
