NPFL: Relegation-threatened Doma United involved in road accident

Players and officials of the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Doma United are involved in an accident.

The accident reportedly occurred on Monday morning along Makrudi-Lafia road when the team was travelling back to their base in Gombe State after their matchday 35 encounter against Heartland FC.

According to several reports, the bus which was conveying the team somersaulted several times and left some players and officials injured.

The injured players and officials have reportedly been rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident.

Doma, who lost 1-3 to Heartland FC are currently battling relegation as they sit 18th on the log with 43 points.
