NPFL: Kwara-born coach Tunde Sanni joins Heartland FC technical crew

Heartland FC of Owerri has appointed a former Kwara United Head Coach, Tunde Sanni as the new Chief Coach of the Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL) Club.
The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) graduate joins the newly appointed Technical Adviser of the Club, Erasmus Onuh at the technical department in an urgent need to rescue the team from relegation.
The former ABS Ilorin FC gaffer is expected to avail the team of his wealth of experience and mastery of football tactics in his new assignment while joining hands with another veteran Erasmus Onuh.
Heartland, who are currently embroiled in the issue of owing their players and officials are rock bottom of the NPFL log with just Seven points from 10 games.
According to recent directives from the League Management Company (LMC), the club risks expulsion from the league if it fails to pay up some of the Players and officials of the club that are being owned.
A graduate of Physical and Health Education from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, Tunde is also the Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kwara State Branch.
The Naze Millionaires will be trading tackles against Gombe United in their NPFL matchday 11 on Wednesday, February 9.
