Nose injury forced Kylian Mbappe to take up mask at Euro 2024
French Striker Kylian Mbappe got injured in a collision with Austria’s Kevin Danso in Monday’s 1-0 win in the ongoing Euro 2024.
The collision which reportedly led to a fractured nose ihas now forced the Real Madrid striker to take up a mask for covering his face.
Ahead of their second game against Netherlands, the French striker was seen wearing a personalised mask at training on Thursday as he trains with the rest of the team.
The mask has blue, white and red colours which all drew its inspiration from the French flag.
The mask also has his initials on one side and jersey number 10 flanked by two stars representing France’s World Cup wins and the national rooster emblem.
Meanwhile, France manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed Mbappe was recovering well and is set to face the Dutch in Group D on Friday.
