Northern governors applaud Fayemi’s commitment to peace, unity in Nigeria

The Northern Governors Forum has praised the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, for his commitment to Nigeria’s peace and unity.

The NGF Chairman, Gov. Simon Lalong, congratulated Fayemi on reaching the age of 57 in a statement.

The governors also praised Fayemi’s dedication to finding answers to the nation’s security concerns, as well as his assistance in supporting the northern region and other regions of the country in dealing with issues obstructing peace and progress.

The forum recognised Feyemi’s accomplishments and desire for accelerating development in all sections of the country, notably through using the potentials of the various regional blocks.

They highlighted that Fayemi’s participation as NGF Chairman with the corporate sector, foreign organisations, and the Federal Government, among others, resulted in certain breakthroughs that have touched Nigerians’ lives.

While wishing him many more years of peace, good health, and pleasure, the forum asked him to continue to promote the ideas of good administration, the rule of law, and peaceful coexistence.
