No tuition hike in CAILS, says NANS Kwara
THE National Association of Nigeria students, Kwara Axis has said it is untrue that the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Ilorin has increased their tuition fees.
Social media reports had stated that the Institution had increased its tuition fees from N37,000 to N53,000.
But a release signed by the NANS’ Kwara Axis chairman, on Wenesday, states that the body met with the students and the management and further reiterate that their was no increment in the school fee.
Salami said, “After making adequate consultation from the students end, the leadership of NANS Kwara, today, meets with the Management of CAILS with the sole aim to consolidate.
“Prior to today, the students of the school have unequivocally told us that the school didn’t increase their school fees, and it was reaffirmed today by the students that there’s no increment in their school fees.
“Sequel to the consultations that leadership of NANS Kwara have made so far, we maintain the stand of the management. “No increment of school fees in Kwara CAILS!
“There are some other pressing issues that came up during our consultations, that the leadership of NANS Kwara will attend to in no time.”
Recall that the institution’s provost, on Tuesday, stated that the allegations “are spurious, baseless and a deliberate attempt by the mischief makers to dent the reputable image of the College”.
