No civil servant is earning below N30,000 in Kwara, says Gov AbdulRazaq | The Informant247
The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reiterated that no worker (civil servant) in the public sector is earning below N30,000, emphasising his commitment to welfare of workers in the state even when salaries of workers are not been paid elsewhere.
He disclosed this during an official visit by the Transition Implementation Chairmen to his office in Ilorin, the state capital.
The governor, who said he’s optimistic that the country would overcome the current security challenges, urged the TIC Chairmen to work closely with traditional rulers and other stakeholders to tackle insecurity at the local government level.
“It is a passing phase, Nigeria will overcome these problems,” he told the Chairmen.
He also advised the Chairmen to come up with creative ways of increasing their revenue without bringing hardship to the poor.
