NiMet alerts Nigerians on a 3-day haziness, cloudiness
A 3-day hazy and cloudy weather activity has been predicted by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, beginning from Monday to Wednesday across the country.
NiMet’s weather outlook released on Sunday in Abuja envisaged the North and North central regions of the country to experience dust haze with a visibility range of 1km to 5km.

The agency anticipated localised visibility of less than 1,000m throughout the forecast period, adding that a hazy atmosphere with patches of clouds is anticipated over the southern region of the country during the forecast period.
NiMet, while urging the public to take necessary precautions as dust particles are in suspense, calling on people with asthmatic health conditions and other respiratory issues to be cautious of the present weather condition, also advised airline operators to get airport-specific weather reports (flight documentation) from NiMet for effective planning.
