Nigeria’s challenges affecting my state, Ekiti income – Governor Fayemi
Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the Governor of Ekiti state, has said that Nigeria is currently battling myriads of challenges.
The Governor has urged the people to solidarize with Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the governor-elect of the state, in his government.
The Governor confessed that the challenges facing the country are having grave influence on the income our revenue coming to the state.
The Governor made this revelation during the “Thank You Tour” to Ekiti South Senatorial District which took place in Ikere-Ekiti yesterday.
“Our government would need a lot of thinking outside the box, the governor needs a lot of support coming from our people, he would need a lot of understanding and am confident that you would give him that support, for him to even do better than what we have been able to do in our period in office.”
The Governor appreciated the citizens of the senatorial district, the stakeholders, leaders and royal personalities, for extending to him the needed support, praying that the will continue to advance and go higher in leaps and bounds.
“Since 2018 and till now, the early opportunity between 2010 and 2014 and the opportunity of our predecessor and party leader, Otunba Niyi Adebayo between 1999 to 2003, we have tried our best for the people.”
