Nigeria’s Buhari expected to present 2023 budget to parliament in October

ABUJA, Nigeria (The Informant247) – Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to present the 2023 budget to parliament in October, speaker of the country’s lower house said on Wednesday.

“I am hoping that the budget will be presented latest by first week of October,” Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila

Once Buhari has presented the budget to the lawmakers, it will have to be approved by the lower and upper chambers of parliament after scrutiny before it can be signed into law, a process that can take months.
