Nigerian troops eliminate notorious bandits behind NDA attack
The Kaduna State Government has revealed that troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralized many bandits at Tollgate general area of Chikun Local Government Area in the state.
Samuel Aruwan who’s the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, made this revelation via a statement on Saturday in Kaduna.
Aruwan said that a notorious bandit, Boderi Isiya, narrowly escaped death but his deputy, Misti, and several other fighters were killed down by the troops.
He disclosed that they were responsible for the breach of security at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and as well as the abduction of students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, the Emir of Bungudu and several others.
Report has it that the troops engaged the bandits around the Tollgate general area of Chikun LGA.
“The bandits scrambled in retreat, only to run into another ambush laid by the troops in Sabon Gida general area.
“The troops engaged the bandits ferociously and ultimately subdued them.
“Corpses and weapons were recovered at the scene, while some of the terrorists eventually died from bullet wounds”.
