Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel’s ‘Buga’ gathers 100m views on YouTube
The popular Nigerian singer, Daniel Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, professionally addressed as Kizz Daniel, has gathered his first 100 million YouTube views with his hit song ‘Buga.’
The Buga song which made public in May of this year (2022) was ranked number one song in 2022 Google search by Nigerian people.
While rejoicing over the achievement, the talented singer took to Twitter to thanked his fans and followers for always supporting him and credited God for his graceful achievement.
Daniel wrote: “Celebrate your success, no matter the matter. It attracts more than 100 million views in five months. Thank you l am grateful, this is my first 100 million views on content on YouTube and many more to come by HIS GRACE, BUGA.”
The veteran singer had earlier made an explanation that the title of the track ‘Buga’ means to ‘Show Off’ or flaunt oneself or to acknowledge oneself for being steadfast and not losing focus.
The song has remained one of the most popular songs in Nigeria that even went across the border of the country, and also topping the list of songs on Apple Music’s Top 100 Chart in Africa.
