Woman who absconded with three-day-old baby arrested in Ibadan
Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday said that a woman who absconded with a three-day-old baby in Ibadan, the state capital, has been arrested.
The police said that the suspect, Itunu Adepoju, who lives in Lagos, absconded with a three-day-old baby girl from her mother last week.

Unknown gunmen attack policemen in Ogun
Some gunmen who were suspected to be members of the Aiye cult group intimidating different parts of Abeokuta have launched an attack on policemen in the Ogun State capital.
The attack, which led to a gun duel between the suspected cultists and the police, ensued when the cops tried to arrest one of them, who the police identified as Ben, around the Lafenwa area of Abeokuta.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed on Tuesday that the said Ben had been on the wanted list of the command for allegedly killing five persons.

The three alleged thieves are Abifarin Sunday, (35) Taiwo Elijah (26), both residents of Oro, in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State and Wasiu Ismael (30) who resides in Ilorin metropolis.
Terrorists kill captain, two soldiers after threat on Abuja Law School
A captain and two soldiers have been killed by terrorists Sunday night in the Bwari area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), credible sources close to military high command.
The captain and the two soldiers were attached to the 7 Guards Brigade of the Nigerian Army, it was learnt.
The soldiers were reportedly ambushed after they visited the Nigeria Law School in Bwari following a distressed call from the authorities of the school. The school management was said to have alerted that terrorists had dropped a letter indicating an imminent attack on the school.
