A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Yekini Nabena, on Tuesday, says the Peoples Democratic Party has no moral right to criticise the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for fielding a Muslim running mate.

A 23-year-old Computer Science student of the National Open University in Ilorin, Mohammed Isiaka, was on Tuesday murdered by suspected cultists in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
According to the police report, “at about 1630hrs, some boys suspected to be cultists visited a house at Akerebiata area of Ilorin, attacked one Mohammed Isiaka ‘m’ aged 23yrs, a computer science student of the Open University Ilorin and shot him in the chest.”

Police rearrest Kuje escapee in Niger
Niger State Police Command has said that police operatives attached to ‘A’ Division Suleja have arrested 54-year-old Kazeem Murtala who escaped from the Kuje Correctional Centre, Abuja while on patrol in the Suleja area of the state.
Based on credible intelligence, the police operatives stormed an identified compound around the General Hospital Suleja-Bakasi Area of the town.
