Gunmen have reportedly invaded the First Baptist Church Nekede in Imo State and abducted the wife of Imo State Zoo General Manager, Mrs. Bola Abioye.

A former senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki, has said the prolonged strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities and other unions in the Nation’s universities shows the lack of compassion for Nigerians by the Federal government.

Responding to questions from journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State, Saraki also said that the 2023 elections were crucial for the country and urged the people to take them seriously.
