The Federal Government of Nigeria has reacted to 31 Coronavirus related fatality recorded in just 24 hours as Federal medical workers embarked on industrial action.
Peace talk between the striking doctor and the Federal Government on Tuesday, 16th June 2020 ended in a standoff.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 490 new cases, with total number of Covid-19 cases rising to 17,148.
Over 19,000 medical practitioners embarked on a nationwide strike on 15th June, 2020 to press home their demands which is not limited to hazard allowance, group life insurance and payment of minimum wages among others.
