Nigeria records 33 additional COVID-19 infections
Nigeria reported 33 additional COVID-19 infections on Wednesday, increasing the total number of cases to 253,875.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), new cases have been recorded in five states and the Federal Capital Territory.
NCDC stated that Lagos state reported 16 illnesses, the FCT reported 11 cases, and Kastina reported four.
It went on to say that Kano had three cases, Rivers had two, and Kaduna had one.
According to the centre, no deaths were reported on Wednesday.
It went on to say that ten people have been discharged from hospitals around the nation.
