Niger gov presents N198.2bn 2022 budget

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State, on Thursday, presented a budget estimate of N198.2bn to the Niger State House of Assembly for the 2022 fiscal year.

Bello, while presenting the budget, said it would help to complete ongoing projects and propel the economy on sustained growth.

According to him, the state expects a statutory allocation of N54,282,412,426.00, Value Added Tax of N20,792,440,780.00, an internally generated revenue of N17,190,944,156.00, Excess Crude of N4,870,724,375.00 to fund the budget.

The budget has a proposed capital expenditure of N122.9 billion and recurrent expenditure of N74.1bn.
