Neymar suffers ankle injury as PSG beat Lille in seven goal thriller
Lionel Messi scored a late minutes free kick to hand PSG a great win over Lille on Sunday.
The thrilling encounter saw Lille putting the home side to a round of uncertainty in the battle at the Parc des Prince before the seven time Baloon D’or winner sealed the day off.
Mbappe and Neymar had both put the hosts to the lead before Diakite reduced the deficit into the half time.
Jonathan David converted a spot kick to level things up and PSG later found themselves behind when Jonathan Bamba struck the third goal for the visitors.
The parisians later rally round and had Mbappe levelling them up before Lionel Messi netted a free kick to push them back to the ultimate lead.
The highlight of the game was when Neymar was taken off on a stretcher following a clash with Benjamin Andre, in which he appeared to injure his right ankle.
PSG may now have to face Bayern Munich in their second leg of the champions league without Neymar. The french side lost the first leg 1-0
