New Senior Advocates of Nigeria announced: R.O Balogun, Rasaq Gold, 56 others elevated

The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC), under the leadership of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, has officially elevated fifty-nine distinguished legal practitioners, including Chief Rafiu Oyeyemi Balogun and Bola Rasaq Gold, to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

This announcement follows hours of deliberation by the committee, and the decision reaffirms their excellence in the legal profession and commitment to upholding the ethical standards of the profession.

A statement issued by Hajo Sarki-Bello, the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and Secretary of the LPPC, highlighted the rigorous selection process.

It further noted that four separate petitions against certain applicants were considered and subsequently dismissed for their lack of merit.
