New NSCDC commandant resumes duty in Ondo
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has got Mr. Olatundun Olayinka as the new Commandant in Ondo.
The spokesperson of the command, Daniel Aidamenbor, made this revelation, Wednesday in Akure, the capital of the state.
Aidamenbor said that the commandant is to replace Dr Hammed Abodunrin, who’s currently doing a one-year course at War College, Abuja.
The spokesman revealed that the new commandant is committed to put into practice the vision of the Commandant-General of the NSCDC .
The mouthpiece of the command further revealed that Olayinka has shown its readiness to build on the accomplishments of his predecessor.
”To build is very easy, to maintain requires greater efforts. All hands will be on deck to sustain the tempo and to do more.
”We need discipline, commitment and dedication to our core mandates. We need effective synergy and collaboration with sister agencies.
”Above all, the people’s trust in us as a responsible and responsive agency must not be taken for granted,” he said.
The Informant247 gathered that the new commandant has served at the Directorate of Critical National Asset and Infrastructure before the current posting.
