NELFUND condoles with Gov AbdulRazaq over Chief of Staff’s death

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has condoled with the Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the tragic loss of his Chief of Staff (CoS) Prince Mahe Abdulkadir, who died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness at the age of 73 years.

NELFUND, in a statement on Sunday signed by its Managing Director/Chief Executive, Akintunde Sawyerr, described the late CoS as a dedicated public servant who was committed to the development of Kwara State.

The statement said: “Prince Abdulkadir was a dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara State was evident in his years of service.

“His exemplary leadership and contributions will be remembered as a legacy of service to his state and country.

“On behalf of the management and staff of NELFUND, we extend our deepest condolences to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Abdulkadir family, and the entire people of Kwara State. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of immense loss.

“May the Almighty grant the departed eternal rest and comfort those he has left behind.”

The Informant247 reports that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s Chief of Staff, Alhaji Mohammed Mahe AbdulKadir, passed away at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).

Confirming the development, the Kwara state governor, in a statement by his spokesperson Rafiu Ajakaye, said that Prince Mahe died Saturday morning, December 28, 2024.

The statement, while describing the late Chief of Staff as a perfect gentleman, community leader, urbane public servant and a statesman, added that the deceased will be buried on Saturday at his residence on Moro Street, Adewole Estate, Ilorin, after the Asr prayer.

The statement reads: “In total submission to the will of Allaah, we regret to announce the passing of the Chief of Staff to His Excellency, Prince AbdulKadir Mahe.

“He died this morning, December 28, 2024, as has been destined by Allaah.
