Napoli includes Osimhen in squad for Udinese clash amid TikTok video controversy
Despite the recent controversy surrounding deleted TikTok videos, Serie A champions Napoli have named Victor Osimhen in their match-day squad for their upcoming home game against Udinese.
A video shared on X by football journalist Fabrizio Romano showed Osimhen arriving at the team’s hotel.
In the video, he appeared to avoid exchanging pleasantries with his teammates, shaking hands only with team manager Giuseppe Santoro before entering the hotel.
Osimhen’s discontent with the TikTok videos has been evident, with his agent even threatening legal action, and the striker deleting most Napoli-related photos from his Instagram page.
Despite this situation, Napoli, as reported by Sky Sports, has chosen not to comment on the incident and plans to continue with business as usual.
The club is currently preparing to face Udinese in a week 6 fixture as they seek to defend the Serie A title they secured last season.
In the league standings, Napoli currently occupies the 7th position, having won just two of their first five games of the season.
