Napoli defender, Koulibali may join Manchester City

Napoli no-nonsense centre back, Kalidou Koulibaly is Manchester City’s top transfer target this summer and his agent has reportedly traveled to Manchester to work on a deal which could the Senegal international switch to the sky blue colour next season.

Fali Ramadami, the agent of Kalidou Koulibaly, has reportedly travelled to Manchester to negotiate a transfer to Manchester City.

Aurelio De Laurentiis, the club’s president, has repeatedly spoken about the potential transfer in the press in recent weeks and suggested in his latest tirade that negotiations haven’t been normal because there is bad blood between the club’s following the collapsed deal to sign Jorginho two years ago.

“If Manchester City maintain that they cannot speak with us [directly] because of the problem with Jorginho,” he said on Thursday, “how can we have a normal and calm negotiation for the sale of a player?”

As a result, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, via SportWitness, Koulibaly’s agent is acting as an intermediary for the two clubs during talks and is now in Manchester to hear an offer from City for the 29-year-old.

It is reported that Ramadami will then travel to Capri early next week to visit De Laurentiis and relay him the club’s offer, after which a decision on the move will be made.
