NAFDAC uncovers illegal cosmetic company in Lagos
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) said its operatives have shut down an illegal production facility in Ipaye, Iba, Lagos, for manufacturing unregistered cosmetic products.
NAFDAC, via its official X handle, said the successful operation followed extensive surveillance by its men after raiding the premises.

The statement furthered that the operatives also apprehended staff members and confiscated various products, including body washes, cleansing soaps, lightening creams, children’s skincare items, and packaging materials.
The statement added that the facility had been sealed to halt further production while one suspect is in its custody for further investigation.
