NAF target wedding party of bandit leader, kill scores of terrorists in Katsina

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has targeted the wedding party of a bandit leader in Katsina State, killed scores of terrorists.

According to reports, those killed include Sule, a notorious bandit and a sibling of Lalbi Ginshima, another wanted outlaw.

gathered that the Air Task Force (ATF) carried out the operation at Unguwar Adam village in Dan Musa Local Government Area after intelligence revealed the location of the terrorists.

An Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) platform was sent to monitor activities at the location in order to assist the ATF to execute their plans.

learned that a fighter platform was then dispatched after the ISR drone sighted scores of bandits in a merry mood.

According to a source in the military, the terrorists suffered heavy casualties and several of them sustained degrees of injuries.

The source said, “The aircraft observed over fifty bandit-terrorists and engaged them with rockets and cannons in successive passes.

“As many as 27 were decimated. Among those killed include bandit leader Sule, who is brother to major bandit Lalbi Ginshima.”
